Afternoon Session Questions and Answers Question Answer Given the delay in getting the initiative up and running Can we begin our 3 years of implementation as of the 2000-01 school year. Implementation would then run through the 2002-03 school year? Given that the SS/HS grants were awarded as of 10/1/99, it is important that sites show progress towards outlined objectives in the 1999-2000 school year. It may make sense to delay some components of your project until the 2000-2001 school year, however, it is imperative that all grantees demonstrate progress in this fiscal year. You may want to contact your Federal Project Officer for more guidance. Is there a limit (percentage of total grant) for transfer of funds?   There are no limits on transfer of funds, however we ask grantees to refrain from moving funds accross the six elements. In other words, funds can be moved among categories within an element. Is it possible for you to distribute the power point presentations that were usedin today's conference.
